The seaside returns to Blists Hill Victorian Town in land-locked Shropshire for a second year!
Visit during the half term summer holiday to enjoy a day at the beach, complete with donkeys and a stage show with live entertainment recreating the atmosphere of the traditional Victorian seaside.

The annual Shrewsbury Steam Rally is one of Shropshire’s biggest steam festival of the year, with something for all the family. A fantastic two-day event held over the August Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday, within the picturesque venue of Onslow Park, just outside of Shrewsbury.

Join The Severn Gorge Countryside Trust on a family friendly walk to discover the wonders of den building in the Loamhole Dingle.
Using natural materials the group will be supported to create their own shelter in the woods. There will also be an opportunity to use some natural printing methods to create flags for your den.
The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford offers a fun, entertaining day out for all the family during the summer break.
Battlefield Road, Shrewsbury
A purpose-built climbing centre catering for all ages and abilities, Climbing Hut has a huge 8000 square ft of climbing space.
Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World
24th – 26th August
Visit Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World for a fantastic weekend of all things Dinosaur!
Saturday: is the Jurassic Park Motorpool who will be showing off their fantastic cars. Also meet the roaming dinosaurs from Raptors World.
If that’s not enough, why not stay in the evening for an outdoor screening of Jurassic Park Cinema on the 24th August (additional tickets required).
Sunday and Monday: Join the Dino Rangers and the rangers from Raptors World to meet real dinosaurs and learn about real fossils.
